An old bladder seat stand wasn’t holding air anymore and needed a replacement. This seat comes vacuum packed and like the foam mattresses it needs a time to expand. There are three sections to the seat. The bottom which is dual layer foam. Hard to see in the photo but the top 1/3 is a soft conforming foam and the bottom 2/3’s is a stiff insulating foam. The two back panels have the thinner foam and straps to wrap to the tree. They do a nice job of making install easy and secure. Metal connection piece is sewn on the end and a bit larger metal piece is on the webbing. Wrap around the frame, angle the smaller piece into the slot on the larger, insert it through, straighten it out, and it is connected. Now snug down the strap and the two pieces fit flat and can’t come apart. Your weight on the seat keeps it tight and it stays together when packed up. The metal parts are coated in a rubberized coating so no metal clanking sounds. Nicely done and ready for more time in the woods.
