Hang N Bang 3 Step Climbing Aider for Hunting Gear
I’ve made my own aiders before typically 2 step so thought I’d try this 3 step. Well sewn and constructed of webbing makes it very light, flexible and portable. If you prefer one that has structure in the step for your boot its not this. I did find the webbing hung open enough for me for early season but if you have larger boots it might not be enough. The top has open loops that are connected. This allows you to hang it on a single connection which I don’t care for or double off the bottom pegs. The loops aren’t long enough to easily double loop to secure but I managed to force them over. Single they are too loose for my comfort to not come off during the day. I wish they included a few O rings to snug them up. I’ll be sourcing some to keep them in place. You could also tie or tape them in place if you’re not going to be moving them. I’m only going to use this for my bottom stick to get a good start up the tree. I think it will serve well in that configuration.
