Stone Bird Bath SBB6 measures 750mm long and will make a stunning addition to any contemporary garden design or patio space. This large boulder has a sawn and polished smooth top with spaces for both seed and water to help encourage wildlife to a garden. The offset appearance is very stable due to the flat sawn base and of course the inherent weight of the piece. Please note this piece is extremely heavy and will need to moved with care and planning. Sourced direct from a quarry in North Wales and finished in the workshop. An alternative piece is stone bird bath SBB4 which again is a one off piece. The smaller dish measures 200mm diameter and has a shallow carving of 4 to 5mm. The smooth polishing uncovers a stunning contrasting deeper tone. The larger bowl measures 270mm diameter and has a deeper dish carving depth of approximately 50mm. Again, the polishing exposes a different colour tone to the rest of the stone. This gives an insight into the internal texture of the stone. Very much a one off and we don’t have anything similar to this currently in stock.
