Information Guideline for recommended cloth colours for cleaning: Ref: Inclean New Zealand August edition 2015 p23 Adam Hodge (Abridged) The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) Cleaning Professionals Skills Suite (CPSS) assessment, offered by the Master Cleaners Training Institute, incorporates the use of a colour coded cloth system. (CCC). This incorporates processes and procedures which include a colour coded system for cloths in use in particular areas. A GREEN Cloth is used for KITCHENS a RED or BROWN Cloth is used for TOILETS and a YELLOW cloth is used for BATHROOMS. The colour code cloths (CCC) system is used in conjunction with best practice; including clean to dirty and top to bottom wiping. A CCC system offers clients visual evidence of cleaner compliance to good hygiene practice in-situ.
