Simmons took all the knowledge and experience of the original and Gen II flexi-skis, and created the Gen III ski. The new, 8″ wide, Generation III ski is the best of both worlds. This ski is the answer to the newer lighter sleds, with the rider being positioned more forward. The Gen III ski was developed and tested to generate an amazing riding experience providing more control while side hilling. Turning is sharper and easier, and you still get great floatation when off-trail. So let’s cut to the chase and see what’s different. 8″ wide for excellent deep snow performance Flexible ski for a compliant ride through bumps and ruts Dual keel design for improved turning Concave design allows snowmobile to get up on snow quickly Sports car handling Modified dual keel/concave design places the keels closer together. The outer keel is shorter than the inner keel, which increases overall ski performance. Turning is sharper than ever imagined. New skag design. Combined with the new ski design the cutting carbide is placed under the spindle to aid in turning.
