Griffin Stainless Steel Power Bar The Griffin Stainless Steel Power Bar is a very aggressive, well-spec’d, and high-quality power bar. It is built with stainless steel from end-to-end. Features & Highlights Stainless Steel – Stainless steel is excellent at preventing rust and it provides a true raw feel. While it is one of the more expensive options, it is arguably the best one available. Aside from the oxidation resistance and excellent feel, stainless steel also looks fantastic. 29mm Shaft – the 29mm shaft on the Griffin Stainless Power Bar is consistent with most power bar offerings, and it will provide a very rigid shaft that’s ideal for the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Very Aggressive Knurl – The knurling on this bar is very aggressive, making it great for heavier lifts and PR attempts. This bar shines on deadlifts and low bar squats, but some may find the knurling to be a little much on bench press and high bar squats. I personally love this knurling – it’s one of my favorites of any bar that I own, but I do prefer aggressive knurling. Center Knurl – The Stainless Power Bar from Griffin does include a center knurl in the same pattern as the outer knurl. Again, low bar squatters will likely love it while high bar squatters may think it leans too aggressive. Single Knurl Marks – This is a pure power bar with single IPF knurl rings. Tensile Strength – The bar offers a 200,000 PSI tensile strength, which places it right in the wheelhouse of quality power bars. Smooth Sleeves – This bar comes equipped with smooth sleeves and they’re among the smoothest I’ve ever used. They are very quiet and they’re also made of stainless steel. Bushings – As is customary with power bars, the Griffin Stainless Power Bar uses bronze bushings to produce a slow and steady spin Warranty – The bar comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
