GWO Working at Heights Refresher (WAHR) – also known as Working at Heights Refresher. Aim: Refreshes safe use of PPE (harnesses, lanyards), climbing techniques, fall prevention, and basic rescue from height in wind turbine environments. Duration: Typically 8–12 hours (1–1.5 days), with intensive practical assessments. Certificate Validity: 24 months (2 years); uploaded to the GWO WINDA database. Prerequisites: Valid (or recently expired) WAH/WAHR certificate, valid WINDA ID, minimum age 18, good physical health (physically demanding). Why Mandatory: Essential part of BSTR Onshore/Offshore – without a valid certificate, working at height in turbines is prohibited. It is the most comprehensive and physically demanding refresher module in the BST package.
