Stone Sign SM324 was chosen at a quarry in North Wales and hand finished in our Southampton workshop. At just over 1.2 metres tall, this Large Granite monolith is ideal as a sign or memorial stone. This can be carved at additional cost. We can organise this and any installation required. Alternative use as a feature stone in a large Japanese garden design, or as part of a group of stones in a larger landscaping project. Sawn base provides a flat and safe stable base. Premium quality stone with a polished face measuring 850mm wide x 250mm thick at the base makes this a rather heavy but yet manageable piece. Weighs in at around 625kg so would be easier to move on site with a mechanical digger or telehandler. Installation options are placing on a solid flat base or conreting into the ground. Stone of this size, quality and characteristics is becoming increasingly difficult to source in the quarry. We can hold this stone sign in the yard until you’re ready for delivery or until your landscapers arrive on site. This can easily be combined with similar size stones to create a Japanese themed garden or Zen like retreat in your garden. Combine with other slate products such as slate chippings and slate stepping stones to create a simple Japanese style garden.
