Stone Bird Bath SBB15

Stone Bird Bath SBB15 is a Medium/Large sized Purbeck boulder, hand picked from a quarry in Dorset. Hand carved in the workshop in Southampton. Naturally rugged, with some stunning features and contours. Measuring 950mm long x 550mm wide x 190mm high. The top has a rustic edge and a shallow bowl for retaining water and encouraging birds to an outdoor space. A smaller bowl has also been carved to be used as a bird feeder to store food in. Dimensions of these are 300mm and 150mm. This garden bird bath will suit both a traditional and contemporary garden design because while it retains natural earthy colour tones it also has a modern feel to it. It could also work to bring some contrast as a feature stone in a more traditional setting. Can also be used as a water bowl or vessel in a Japanese Garden Design.   Please check the gallery carefully as the photos show the high level of detailing within this piece. The bird bath was photographed dry, so will darken slightly when wet. The inner bowls have been delicately polished to give a rounded feel and fossils and shells can be seen below the surface.  Pictures are of the exact piece you will receive.
